On 26 September 2025, the NextGEng Project held its Final Meeting online via MS Teams, with the active participation of all partner institutions.
This event marked the successful conclusion of the project, celebrating impactful results in advancing engineering education through innovation and international collaboration.
Key Achievements:
- Established an international cooperation framework that enhanced the quality of didactic activities across partner HEIs.
- Build co-teaching teams of HEI teachers and company experts to jointly develop new pedagogical content and teaching methods, implemented through a team-teaching approach.
- Organized two rounds of training for co-teaching members, focusing on student-centered pedagogy, course planning, assessment, and innovative teaching methods. The second round also engaged associated partners, ensuring broader dissemination.
- Implemented more than 140 international course and laboratory/project team-teaching sessions, bringing together 27 HEI teachers, 15 company experts, and 500+ students, combining academic and industry expertise to build industry-relevant competencies.
- Developed a new learning model: Cases of Experiential Learning (CEL), a framework linking academia and industry through project-based student challenges
- Delivered 6 CEL projects, involving 108 students and 44 supervisors (HEI teachers, researchers, and company experts), providing hands-on, collaborative learning opportunities.
The NextGEng Project successfully achieved all its objectives, demonstrating the strong commitment of all partners to fostering innovation in higher education.
